Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp ketchup
  • a few dashes of Tabasco
    sauce (you be the judge!!)
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 large pack (about 250g)
    cooked prawns
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 head of Romano or
    Little Gem lettuce
  • salt and pepper as
    well as lemon slices to serve

      Method

      • To make your Marierose sauce, mix together the mayo and ketchup as well as lime juice and a few dashes of Tabasco sauce. Mix well.
      • Add the prawns and mix them gently with the sauce. Mash the avocado with a drizzle of lemon juice.
      • Next, place a lettuce leaf each on a large serving plate, add a teaspoon of mashed avocado and 3-4 prawns on top.
      • Finish with a slice of lemon. Ready to serve!
