Ingredients

  • 400ml almond milk
    (or other to taste)
  • Handful of spinach leaves
  • Handful of fresh coriander
  • 2 celery stalks cut
    into pieces
  • 15g of peeled ginger,
    sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp almond butter

    Kick start your weight loss the right way this year. This smoothie is cleansing and nourishing at the same time. It is refreshing to taste, yet has a little bit of caffeine from Matcha to give you a real boost. Enjoy this between meals when you are feeling peckish. You can literally enjoy this every day.
    Twist: If it gets too “green” for your taste, just replace the almond butter with ½ banana.
    Twist: If you aren’t a fan of almond milk, make using coconut water and add 2 Tbsp coconut butter.

    Green Smoothie with Matcha

    Method

    • In a blender, mix the almond milk with the matcha powder.
    • Next, add all the other ingredients into the mix and blend until you achieve a smoothie consistency.
    • If it is too thick add more almond milk.
    • Blend again. Serve immediately, or keep in a stainless steel flask in the fridge overnight. Enjoy!
