These healthy baked pears with cinnamon and syrup make the perfect quick and easy dessert to impress the Family at Christmas.
- Preheat the oven to 180C. In a small bowl, mix the chopped nuts, cinnamon and maple syrup.
- I like using the pears with their peel on, but if you prefer you can peel them before you place them in a baking dish, cut side up.
- Spoon the nut mixture into the holes where the pear centres were, drizzle with added maple syrup if necessary.
- Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until they’re tender. Serve 2 halves per portion … with or without vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
