Bananas are loaded with potassium, which is necessary for rehydration post workout, Bananas also contain complex carbs, as well as a good amount of quick release sugars. Cocoa powder is rich in Magnesium, which helps to relax muscles post exercise. I have added protein powder here to make it into the perfect post workout smoothie.
Method
- Add all ingredients into your blender and blend at high speed until your desired consistency is achieved.
- If you like your smoothie cooler, freeze the banana (cut into pieces) before using, or add a couple of ice cubes before blending. Enjoy immediately!
