Swimming lessons at Gym Plus - Terms & Conditions

I acknowledge that participation in lessons does not guarantee that my child will be water safe. It is understood that the activity involves an element of risk and danger of accidents. These terms have been issued to me and by enrolling my child in swimming lessons.

I agree to abide by the policies, procedures and Gym Plus club rules presented as they ensure a positive experience and safety for myself, my child, and other customers.

From time-to-time Gym Plus may need to cancel a swim lesson. You will be notified of any cancellation to the lesson by email or text and the missed lesson will be credited to your account. Gym Plus does not offer refunds or credits for missed lessons however, in accordance with their sickness policy, credit can be applied in many cases where a doctor’s cert is produced or exceptional circumstances. Please email the Doctor certificate to Swim@gymplus.ie as soon as the lesson is missed so that a lesson credit can be applied.

To secure my child’s place, payment must be made monthly in advance by recurring card on our software Perfect Gym. If payment does not go through, please pay the outstanding amount through the Gym Plus client portal or at reception. Additionally, we will reattempt to collect on the card throughout the month. If payment is not made within 5 days, your child will be regrettably removed from the programme.

Monthly payments for swim classes will be automatically collected from the debit or credit card registered on your account. The payment will appear on your bank statement under the following names, depending on your location:

• Drogheda: Prime Fitness (Drogheda) Ltd
• Naas: Mandabe Ltd
• Rathfarnham & Ashbourne: Prime Fitness Ltd
• Swords: Prime Fitness (Swords) Ltd

To cancel your child’s swimming lessons and take your child out of their class, please email swim@gymplus.ie by the 15th of the current month.

To keep your private lesson time slot, we require you to keep your account in credit, otherwise this time will become available for others to book. A minimum of three lessons consecutive must be booked. To secure my child’s private swim lesson payment must be made at time of booking.

If you need to cancel a Private Lesson?

We kindly ask you to contact us directly by email to cancel your lesson with more than 12 hours in advance of the class time. This will result in a 50% credit being applied to their account. Cancellation of a private lesson with less than 12 hours’ notice will result in full charge of the lesson cost.

In the best interest for pool users, Gym Plus safety policy is that:

• Children must be always accompanied by a responsible adult while in the club.
• No photography including video recording or mobile phone use is allowed at the poolside.
• No eating or drinking allowed at poolside.
• No buggies are allowed at poolside.
• No child will attend the pool if they have had diarrhoea in the last 7 days.
• Swim hats must be worn in the pool.
