Homemade Chunky Chips

  • 2 large potatoes per person (Maris Piper or any fresh chipping potato is good to use) 
  • Some olive oil for drizzling 
  • Salt to season 


Step 1

Heat your oven to 210C

Step 2

Wash the potatoes, leave the skin on. Cut them lengthwise into quarters, you want to achieve a wedge about the size/thickness of your index and ring fingers put together.

Step 3

In a bowl, mix the wedges with a little olive oil and salt. Make sure they are all thinly coated as the oil on the potato will improve cooking.

Step 4

Bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes or until they are crunchy and soft. These are great served with a salad, steak or a bean burger.
