There is nothing worse than waking up the day after a big night out without any plan for breakfast. Don’t get caught out this Christmas season; cheat your way to a healthier morning by making these super easy, yummy overnight oats. Suitable for the whole family. Can be made vegan/dairy free/etc. The sky is your limit.
Method
Put the grains into a dish and cover with about 10-15 tbsp water, mix.
Cover and put into your fridge for 8 hours or overnight.
When you’re ready to eat, take out the porridge, add yoghurt, honey and lemon juice(optional), and mix thoroughly.
Add more yoghurt to taste and achieve desired consistency.
Cut the banana and apple into slices, and stir into the porridge to create your own muesli.
Cover with a few nuts and seeds.
Ready to go!
