Berries are in season now. They are full of nutrients, vitamins, minerals and beneficial phytonutrients. Throughout the year it’s good to use frozen berries, but when they’re fresh they all the much better. Go to a local roadside stand to find fresh redcurrants or blackcurrants, or raspberries. Add your own protein powder to make this a brilliant recovery drink.
