What to expect

Although the suspension trainer might look intimidating at first, rest assured the exercises you will perform using it are not difficult. In a typical class, you will do a quick warm-up before taking your place at the suspension trainer anchor. You will then be shown how to adjust the straps to positions you are comfortable with, giving you a range of options to make each exercise more or less challenging for yourself. 

The Gym Plus class instructor will teach you how to perform exercises like squats, lunges, push-ups and rows using the straps while being suspended. You will learn how to utilise the suspension to develop strength with your own body weight. It is a whole new experience doing these exercises while suspended but you will leave each class feeling more energised and enthusiastic about returning for the next challenge.
