Resistance training is a form of exercise that aims to increase muscular strength and endurance. The primary aim of the class is to exercise the muscles using some form of resistance. This resistance can be weights, bands, or even your own body weight. Resistance training is a great way to boost your metabolism and reduce body fat, along with increasing bone density and balance.
