What is STRONG by Zumba?
STRONG by Zumba is driven by specially selected energetic music and you will perform a series of plyometric moves. These include high knees, jumping jacks and burpees along with isometric moves like lunges, squats and kicks. Each class is divided into quadrants. Starting with a warm-up, Ignite to get your heart rate up with side steps, jumping jacks, leg swings and hip stretches. This is followed by Fire Up, where you will engage your body in a series of punches and squats. Then it’s straight into Push Your Limits where you will combine all of the above exercises for a total body workout. Finally, there’s Floorplay, concentrating on toning the abdominal muscles with exercises such as planks and crunches.
