Step it up in step class! If you are looking for a high energy, fun class to get your heart racing, Step aerobics is for you. It is a challenging fitness class that is suitable for people of all ages and fitness abilities.
What is STEP?
A typical step aerobics class involves a set of choreographed movements performed on a raised platform. Set to high-temp music, movements are designed to work the lower body, upper body and core. Step at Gym Plus is a class that is suitable for everyone. It is a full body cardio class that will help you sculpt your bum, thighs and leg muscles.
You step up, around and down from the step. In some classes you will use hand weights for strength-training moves off the step too. Members are encouraged to move at their own pace and are motivated to make it through each session by our enthusiastic instructors. We recommend wearing athletic footwear while in class as you will want to maximise comfort while using the step.
