What is Combo Class?
Combo class at Gym Plus is a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout that encompasses strength and cardio exercises. The combination of the two types of exercise in one session strengthens the core while blasting fat and building power. This is a class for people of all ages and fitness abilities. You can take it at your own pace as our instructors help you keep motivated to the last rep.
In Combo class you will perform repetitions in each station like squat thrusts, push-ups mixed with high knees and tap downs. Then you will launch into exercises such as side-lunges and punching lunges followed by speed skaters. All exercises are chosen to maximise results of both cardio (aerobics conditioning) and strength training. You will use your body weight as well as resistance bands, barbells and dumbells. Our Gym Plus instructors will modify weights to challenge you throughout the course.
